Recent maintenance and upgrades
First thanks everyone for the suggestions on what to have done at Sanderson Ford in Phoenix Arizona. When I found out that the generator gas line had indeed done it's notorious cracking I had  them drop the tank to fix that and replace the fuel pump  at the same time since it's the original and I have 109,000 miles on the rig .
They checked all fluids, checked the brakes ( which had been replaced, all components  in 2015 )  flushed  the transmission,  refill with new filter,  fixed a leak in the differential and filled it.  Fresh oil change with mobile one extended new filter new air filter. All hoses and belts have been replaced new at 90,000 miles they are in fine shape. They also checked all the chassis bolts , the running gear , the steerage , bearings , axles etc. All things passed in good condition.  In general they just did a complete safety check on all my components. This came out to be less than $1700. I can't recommend Sanderson Ford enough .
So  now Cherryotte is getting new  awnings  all around, loaded up, and she and I and Junah are back on the road again as full timers. It has been so miserably hot here in Arizona that moving has been a real chore but it's almost over people can't wait to get out there.

Gini, what kind of awnings, where are you getting them and what windows are you covering?
Happy trails as you pass into full time status.

Hi Chris. My old 18-year-old Fiamma, all the plastic parts had broken , the spacer bushings had cracked and fallen off , the material was shot because I use mine a lot. So I opted for what is a carefree, a more standard style. I'm getting pull out awnings on both of the rear big windows and the front driver side window.
In the process of getting the generator line checked out (Isco Gen. Repair, Bob) turns out he had a friend who is known as the awning man here in Phoenix Arizona.
He made me a deal on used but like new parts, and new fabric ( burgundy fade)... $250 ea. For the windows, and $600 for the whole 15 ft. Patio .
What's funny is that beings as my rig is a 1998 and has the notorious minty white color the white on the awning material and the awning mechanisms look pink I love it! All in all I think it's a pretty good deal I'm hoping that the additional Awnings will really help with the heat I love being able look out the big windows but having to keep them covered with it so God awful hot like it has been defeats the purpose of the big windows.
