Fogged Windows
New member to your blog. Happy to be here! We just bought our 2005 Lazy Daze and are having trouble with foggy windows. Are there any DIY's to fix this? Thank you in advance! Loving the rv life❤️

Welcome to the cult.

The the two 'fixes' are total replacement or having the window professionaly removed and the dual pane window(s) rebuilt.
There are very few places that do this.
Cost is around $500 a window for rebuilding and over $1000 for replacement.

Window "de-fogging" (and/or replacement) is not a DIY project; it's a job best left to skilled and experienced installers. This topic has come up several times on the forum in the past; going to the "Technical" category and typing "fogged windows" in the search bar will bring up a long thread.

You don't say where you are located, but this shop has a location in Coburg, OR, and one in Avondale, AZ; see the positive report on this business by members Jim and Gayle in the thread mentioned above.

A negative report of thermopane window replacement by Suncoast RV Designers in Florida is also posted in the "foggy windows" thread.

The other option is the LD factory; I had the large rear window in my 2003 TK (same window as the MB) replaced last fall. The cost for that window only was $845.00; labor was on top of that. Vince and his minions did other work at the time, so the specific labor charge for window removal and installation was not split from the total. Obviously, the best way to get an accurate dollar amount for the job is to call the factory.

The only other choice is to live with hazy windows; the issue is not as annoying if only the side windows are fogged, but a fogged rear "view" window in  a TK or MB is a real bummer!
