Black water pipe September 08, 2017, 04:11:15 pm I have a 2014 27MB and the black water pipe came out from the tank, luckily it was parked in the driveway and nothing but the sanitizer dripped out. I contacted LD for advice from Vince who told me to basically come up with my own idea as to how to fix it with a couple of pointers for parts. Well it took me a couple of hours at home depot to select the materials for the fix1-small piece of 2x4 (5" long)construction glue (i used loctite)plumbers tape (metal hanger strap 3/4")2- 1 1/2'wood screws2 hose clamps (Vince says this is mandatory and they must be placed on 180 degrees from each other)Wax rings for toilets (again what LD uses and LOTS of it both inside the tank connection and around the pipe)So after some practice runs this is what i wound up with. hopefully it will hold for a while.
