Large spills are uncommon.Unless a gas nozzle pumped gas into the refrigerator's exterior door, ignition from a spill isn't likely, the flame or spark are several feet off the ground. Gasoline needs a rich mixture to ignite.Is there a chance of an accident? Sure, but what are the odds?You probably have a better chance of dying doing things you do daily, like driving at freeway speeds.Humans are not very good at calculating chance.I'm shutting the refrigerator off, when fueling, and calling it good.I have plenty to worry about already.Larry 5 Likes
