Graywater tank fitting sealant May 16, 2017, 01:58:44 pm I have a 2000 24' FL. Refitting graywater tank. Is the white sealing compound (at the three ports on the tank) just standard pipe dope, as used in threaded pipe fittings? It is not adhesive, like a caulk or silicone rubber. Easy to scrape off with fingernail, and still pliable. And it has to be non-adhesive, otherwise you'd never the the tank off...I'll be using t-bolt hose clamps on refit, as it seems to be at the limit of what worm-drive hose clamps are good for.Chip
