TubShroom, best shower hair catcher

Been using this a little over a month now. It works better than anything we've tried for keeping hair out of the drain, and it fits perfectly.

I use one of these in my shower at home but never thought about seeing if it would fit in my little red wagon.  And you're right, we're a multi woman household and they really do a great job at catching the hair.   Thanks for the idea!

I've always used stainless steel mesh strainers in the sinks and shower; essential (IMO) for keeping as much food "gubbins" and hair and whatnot as possible out of the grey tank.

But, this silicone gadget looks interesting.

Question for Gayle: does the TubShroom stick up above the drain or sit flat?

Yes, the TubShroom sticks up about 3/4 of an inch. If you should hit your toe on it it's very soft and flexible, so not a problem.

We used a steel mesh strainer for a while, which didn't work that well, so I switched to one of these.

It worked a bit better but when I cleaned out the drain with a long, thin brush I would still get lots of hair. With the TubShroom I haven't gotten any hair out of the drain with the brush. I think it's well worth the money.
