Winter skirting March 28, 2017, 03:26:59 pm Greetings.I'm a full-time RVer. I recently purchased a LD.For the past 3 years I've lived in an Airstream.It's a simple task to skirt the trailer for winter.Now that I'll be living in my 31 foot LD I'm thinking about purchasing a snap on skirt. I don't want tons of snap rivets drilled into motorhome.Does anyone have a source for purchasing such a product.I live in the midwest so driving to a west coast shop is not an option.Thanks in advance.Mark

I don't want tons of snap rivets drilled into motorhome"Mark,One way you could decrease the need for drilling a ton of holes for the snaps. Is to utilize the screws along the 1" trim piece. The trim between the lower fiberglass and the upper aluminum panels. It seems that those screws could be used to hold the male half of the snaps. I think they are spaced at about 6" intervals.

This stuff is severe when it comes to holding stuff. Example: the medicine cabinet in my LD is being held to the mirror with DualLock and hasn't moved in several years. My atomic clock is held to the wall with DualLock. I have pictures being held up with DualLock. My rig is decorated with ceramic tiles on the overhead storage cabinets completely around the lounge area on my 30'IB. Does this sound like an endorsement for the stuff? If DualLock doesn't hold I'll kiss yours in the middle of Main St. tomorrow morning at 6AM.They make two grades, interior and exterior. 2 Likes

Sorry to hijack this but would love to know where you got your medicine cabinet and what model? We have been thinking of adding one as well.Jim

To the best of my recollection I bought it at Home Depot. I don't remember that there was a model number. It's roughly 18" wide by (maybe) 30" high, color = Ivory with a mirror face. I replaced the OEM door catch with a magnetic device.I had to fabricate a stand because the shelf it sits on is contoured and not flat. I screwed the base to the bottom of the cabinet and fastened the whole shebang to the existing mirror with the DualLock tape. 1 Likes
