Re: PPL Reply #7 – May 25, 2017, 09:02:33 am PPL also does RV consignments and occasionally you can find a Lazy Daze there. There is a 2003 30' model there now (stock #M117). Here is a list of their class B and C's:PPL- class B & C.

Re: PPL Reply #9 – May 25, 2017, 09:33:56 am Just put in my order for the catalogue. Are we old or what. I loved, yes loved going thru the Sears catalogue as a kid. I was born and raised on a farm in the deep south. I still remember 'helping' dad pick out the hatchlings (baby chicks). I was 'allowed' to pick one or two dozen. When I got older I also loved the JC Whitney Auto catalogue. Spent many hours dreaming ...... Today I'm a 100% IT nerd but I still love the look and feel of paper. 2 Likes
Re: PPL Reply #10 – June 06, 2017, 12:12:08 am I've dealt with PPL for many years. I prefer them to CW, but I can't give a good scientific reason. Anyway, I received a huge catalogue and Texas travel book from them today, and like the rest of you, I'm going to fire up the coffee maker in the morning and dig in. It looks promising.Larry in Monument, CO2008 24' FD 2 Likes

Re: PPL Reply #14 – June 06, 2017, 03:13:26 pm I feel a little like the fly in the ointment here. I have avoided using PPL motorhomes online ordering based on their terrible Yelp reviews:PPL Motor Homes - 12 Photos & 29 Reviews - RV Dealers - 10777 Southwest Fwy,...One and a half stars for 28 reviews? Granted, some of them reference their dissatisfaction with motor home purchases, but quite a number are recent references to online purchases.I think I'll stick with CW and Amazon.HD, the stick-in-the-mud

Re: PPL Reply #16 – June 06, 2017, 04:01:18 pm In that same regard, I never purchased from the Sears Catalog but it was always fun to thumb through. Sometimes I'll test the waters with a vendor with a few small purchases to see how well they perform. That being said so far Amazon Prime has been very dependable. Ya never know, right? PPL is something new to me, so if the risk is small what's to loose?Just sayin'Kent 2 Likes
Re: PPL Reply #17 – June 06, 2017, 04:20:44 pm Of course then there is the comparative shopping experience. One quick look at page 628 of the PPL catalog shows the Valterra Viper 20' sewer hose kit costing $30 more than the same product on Amazon. That's not to say that some Amazon vendors don't cost more than PPL prices. We all know it pays to be a savy shopper.Still fun to poke through. Kent 1 Likes
Re: PPL Reply #18 – June 06, 2017, 06:44:32 pm Sometimes I like to look and dream about items I might want in catalogs. If I'm really thinking I'd like to buy that, that's where the research comes in. What are the reviews on item, can I get it cheaper, faster from some one else? 4 Likes
