OMG Everything redone, but no paperwork March 13, 2017, 12:39:32 pm 1990 LAZY DAZE 22FTNice man, exhausting conversation. No paperwork, but -everything- has been fixed. Sat for 9 years. Rebuilt engine with only 1k mi on it, but no paperwork. New brakes. No paperwork. Inside condition not good, which is why he didn't post pictures. If he had paperwork, I'd have a look at it. Said he had 30 people who want to see it on Sat. Who has an engine rebuilt and doesn't receive paperwork for it? I'm thinking, likely no one. If it sounds to good to be true...Geesh

Re: OMG Everything redone, but no paperwork Reply #2 – March 13, 2017, 02:43:13 pm The ad says 22' but according to the LD pocket guide they didn't make a 22'er on the Ford chassis. One picture looks like maybe damaged on the passenger side cabover. Did they say how long they have owned it? Sounds to me like someone trying to do a quick flip.
Re: OMG Everything redone, but no paperwork Reply #3 – March 13, 2017, 02:54:21 pm I think it's a quick flip. I don't trust anything he told me about this rig. He was evasive, like the others. No paperwork because my buddy did the work kind of thing. I've heard that 3 times so far. One guy even yelled at me incredulously telling me "You have to learn how to trust people lady!". I said thank you for your time and hung up.When I sell anything and the buyer asks a question, I answer them directly. It's a fairly simple thing to do, in my mind. Pretty easy to tell when someone is attempting a scam. Still, very disappointing and a collossal waste of my time (except that I learn with each conversation).
Re: OMG Everything redone, but no paperwork Reply #4 – March 14, 2017, 11:55:45 pm 1990 LAZY DAZE 22FTHe posted a new ad with all brand new shiny pictures. Lowered the price from 10k to $9800. Still the same rig underneath...
Re: OMG Everything redone, but no paperwork Reply #5 – March 15, 2017, 10:56:56 am From looking closely at the photos, that rig looks like it was repainted. I could be wrong, but that shade of blue looks different from the Lazy Dazes I have seen. Also, near the roof above the rear window is a much darker area; can't tell what that is.Also, the front cabover has no windows OR the fake painted black windows; according to the "changes through the years" section, that was the year LD eliminated the leak prone front windows. I notice lots of screws in the rear corner edge caps too. It looks like a lot of work OR preventative maintenance was done to this rig. Steve K
