Blue Sky Solar Boost 3000i
For a yet to be told reason (in a later post I'll explain)  I had to remove this controller.  It's a factory install.  I removed all power sources IE battery and solar panels.  After I replaced it and turned power back on I watched  the absorption voltage go for 13.2 to 15.1.    I let this go on for about three hours then called the Blue Sky technical folks.  ( BTW a great source - very helpful.)  Walked me thru the setup settings.  Then asked if I had the optional temperature compensation mod.   I replied I don't think so 'casue this came from the RV factory as original equipment and there was no mention in the manual.  He asked me to remove the controller and look on the back at the wires -- sure enough I have the temperature compensation mod.    We, together, went thru the various setup parameters concerning the Lifeline AGM batteries.
Not sure when the factory started or even if they still do install the optional temperature compensation mod but this was a very surprise.   I'm surprised by again not surprised.    But in my opinion Lazy Daze is a class company.

During an install of a new battery monitor I was able to cut the wire coming from the solar panel to the solar controller.    After a few words about my luck and parent status I then began my journey into LD rewiring.   Let me say from the outset, LD isn't going to let you remove anything with ease.   What they put in is planned to stay put in forever.     As 'luck' would have it I cut the positive wire from the solar panels to the controller.    The permanent fix will be stringing a new wire from the solar panels to the controller.   Not a really hard issue in a Twin King.    As a winter fix I used a bass butt connector with lots of electrician tape.
When I lost power to the solar controller I did a Blue Sky factory reset.    I called LD factory they said that's what they do also.    I called Blue Sky Technical.    They walked me thru what they believed the correct settings should be for the batteries (Lifeline GPL-4CT)
Enclosed is a image of the suggested changes.   I did upload the spec sheet from  Lifeline they we used to get to these settings.
