Vintage "Newham" Sales Brochure: "LAZY DAZE" Camper | eBayInteresting. The company was Newham Enterprises but the brochure was under 2 Newton's Printing. Can anyone date the GMC pickup to determine the date of the brochure? Anyone know where the "ham" in Newham came from?Chris

Anyone know where the "ham" in Newham came from? The original company was founded by Steve's Uncle Paul and another wood shop teacher, I believe Newham was a combination of the two last names. The company floundered, due to poor management and the lack of capital.Paul's brother Ed, came into the business, after the other partner left and the the Newman title was dropped.Ed wasn't the craftsman his brother was but he was a business man and had the needed experience and capital to help grow the long company. There was a short term split, at some point, and Ed started his own company and produced Robin Hood Class Cs. I still see one every so often, they had many features and design elements similar to the LD of the time, imagine that!Larry 1 Likes
