Semi-Factory Tour
On the way back home we stopped at the mothership --- took a few images for the folks that have never been there.  Enjoy a trip back to the late 50's.

Very thoughtful to post those pictures.  I've very much enjoyed them.  While on the Factory Tour, did you learn or see anything that might be a LD trade secret ... new models, changes, colors, etc?   We hope to visit the Factory sooner rather than later.  And so it goes.

Business is booming at the Mothership by the looks of your photos. This should be an encouragement to all of us.

Kinda wondering what all this activity does to the delivery timeline. Is there still a waiting list? Ours took 14 months without a waiting list. But hey, like they say, " Good things come to those who wait".

Yes, Glen, thanks for posting these photos. I don't recall ever seeing any posted of the inside of the factory. Indeed, it's a time warp. That said, I hope it never is Thorized.

I was there 13 years ago about now for my first tour. Pretty sure those books on the table were in the same place back then. 😋

I think you took a picture of our 27' RB as the picture shows the outside shower option. We were at the mothership two weeks ago an Todd told us  we were fifth in line for paint. He gave us a possible mid March delivery date.

Yes, it would be a shame if they removed that cheesy fake paneling in the office!  ;D

We placed our order May 1, 2016, Invoice 8900.  Todd recently told us that our MB might be ready early to mid April.

I have invoice 8901 for my 2017 Mid Bath. I was told it should be ready in May 2017.   I was originally placed on the waiting list "to order" in September 2015.  I was finally able to actually place the order on June 21, 2016.   It has been a long wait.  I'm very excited.

A more or less 11-month wait time still seems to be in play; in a moment of weakness and compromised clarity of mind, I called Vince and asked him how long it would take to take delivery of a new TK if I zipped down (is 400 miles a "zip"?) and ordered it? He and Todd said, "About 11-12 months."

No need to zip....  :(

It would be a great thrill to watch and listen to you if you decided you'd like a new TK in your life.  So I hope at this point in life, you decide to add a bit of zip!  :)
