Needed: Recommendation for Ford Service Center Near Factory
Does anyone know if there are any Ford Service Centers that service RVs close to the factory?

I am flying down to the factory on Thursday to pick up my 2007MB. It has been at the factory for months waiting for a roof reseal and some repairs. I broke my ankle in August so my husband drove the coach down to Montclair for me in September. Vince had told me he would not be able to schedule repairs till later in the year but I wanted to get it down there while I could and it wasn't like I would be using it anytime soon.

While my husband and his friend were driving the coach down I-5 near Redding, the left two rear tires blew out. It was towed to OK tires and six new tires were put on. There didn’t appear to be any damage but the tow truck driver said he noticed a small sealant leak back by the tires but he did not feel it was a problem that needed attention right away. In August I had also noticed a squeak in the left rear tire area when I was laying back on one of the couches being driven home after breaking my ankle but no one seemed too concerned.

I do not feel comfortable driving nearly 1000 home without having these items looked at by a Ford service center. If I could find a reliable one close to the factory I could make an appointment Monday and perhaps have it seen Friday before I start back home on Saturday.

I suppose it all depends on what you mean by close to the factory.

In my recent post regarding my Wave 6 installation, Jon asked a similar question but we are about 40 miles from the Mothership ( my Ford Service Center being Caruso Ford in Long Beach on Cherry Avenue).

It's about a 45 minute drive from Montclair in light traffic. Here's their number 562 426-3301 or 562 627-5100.

There may be other Ford Truck Service Centers nearer to Lazy Daze but I'm not sure who they would be.
