Shower outside
I have a 26.5 mid bath and didn't get the outside shower option.  Thinking about how to add something and it occurred to me that maybe I could come up with a long extension to my current inside shower sprayer.  Maybe I could then just add the hose entension and run it outside through the window when so desired.  Seems so simple it must be a bad idea.  Has anyone ever tried this?

RV Shower Hose, 72"  Here's a 72" hose which would reach out the window, altho I don't know which end of the shower in an MB owns the shower head, which would make a difference in the length of the longer hose.

We have an outdoor shower on our '02 30' which I've used about 3 times in 14 years. Of course, YMMV.

No good reason why you shouldn't try it.
It might not be as useful as it seems.
The MB's bath window is on the driver's side while the entry door is on the opposite side.  A primary use of the outside shower is to rinse sand off your legs, after playing on the beach. If you rinse on the driver's side, you then need to walk through the dirt to enter your LD, defeating much of the extension's utility.
With an extra long extension, the shower extension it could be used outside the entry door.
Might be a hassle to store 15' of hose.

While not applicable  to an MB, some floor plans can have a cold water rinse installed, near the entry door.

Okay.  I like the idea of a longer hose that I can take outside the door area.  15 to 20 feet sounds good but I will measure.  I just need to find some hose long enough that I can make work.  Thanks

When we camp at the beach, I tee off the line from the faucet.  One supply hose goes to the RV, the other goes to a hose with a spray nozzle by the door.  This way, we don't track in any sand.   Of course, this only works with a water hookup.

I've also seen replacement aerators for sinks that have male hose threads on the other end.  Just another thought that might be easier/cheaper.

For low tech and small foot print (and clean toes), there is always the back packers way.

Hang it out in the sun for a while then from the back of a lawn chair by the coach door when you're ready.

Keepin' it simple..

Good idea Kent!

We have used Kent's solution for years while camping on the water in the California Channel Islands.  The best source for a sun shower is a low-cost sporting goods store like Big 5.  A cheap sun shower in seasonal use lasts about 3 or 4 years.

Modify the tube coming out of the shower bag to be about 5 to 8 feet long.  Almost always 3/8 ID PVC hose from Home Depot.  5 gallons of water in the bag, set it on the roof and in two or three hours of even moderate sun and the water is plenty hot enough for a hot shower.  Putting the bag on the roof gives enough head pressure that the tube can be pulled through a window and into an adjacent shower stall.  8 hours of direct sun in the summer months will make the water too hot to use for a shower.

Typically, my bride can get a decent shower including shampoo-ing her hair and there is still enough hot water left for me to take a quick shower within 5 gallons.  This was a simple and efficient solution to replacing an expensive marine hot water heater and the its cabinet is now converted to kitchen storage. It ought to work just as well in the LD.
