Re: Change in Temperature Reply #6 – December 18, 2016, 10:08:26 am We are enjoying good fortune here in the Keys. Made a bucket list trip down here that had been in the planning for three years. What good timing! AC is running, it is in the 80's and sunny. Now we have to time our drive back west to avoid what we ran into last year- I-10 closed in El Paso due to a blizzard. 2 Likes

Re: Change in Temperature Reply #8 – December 18, 2016, 02:08:07 pm The drive was/is as easy as any two lane. We came US 41 to FL 997, avoiding the big city. Once on US 1 it has been fine. Winds below 17 knots, so no stress. We have been in Curry Hammock and Bahia Honda state parks. Busy but good places. Curry Hammock is getting new bathrooms so the temporaries are a bit over used. Wind has kept the water choppy so canoing is spotty. Bahia Honda has a decent little beach (for the Keys). I like the "old trashy side" (not a value judgement!) of this part of Florida. She likes the snorkeling. We both like to be warm. 1 Likes
