Bookmarked and changing topic title
Is there a method to change the Topic title of a bookmarked thread?

The 'problem' came up to me because the thread is called 'newbie question' -- I'd like to rename it to something more to the topic I'd like to remember  - for example 'cold weather' or something more accurate to the thread.   I'm not asking to change the official thread just the bookmarked example.

Not that I know of, but you bring up a great reminder to use descriptive titles for topics.  The moderators can also edit the topic titles as well, which helps not only the bookmarks folks make but also for searching in the future  :)

Mods - to do this, just modify the first post in a topic and change the title.  You can leave the old one in parentheses as well, and put a little snippet at the end of that first post to show that you've edited the topic title.  I'll do this one momentarily so you can see what I'm describing.

I think Colddog was asking about the on-site Bookmark feature.
