Clearly, an aftermarket addition.  How much overweight would you bet that rear axle is?

Well, that's innovative.
Ken's fears are well founded. An 1986 G-30 has a GVW of 11,000-lbs, there isn't much excess rear axle CCC.
It looks clean, I like the added small A/C, probably small enough to run off a 2-3000-watt portable generator.

Good news Joan, your 23.5', E450 has the needed excess rear axle CCC.
After the conversion is done, you can bring your long wished for Gator.

Hey, my old ScanGaugeII would tell me I was getting 9,999 mpg on a down grade. Look at all that money I saved!   :o
