So, The Doorbell Rings This Sunny Afternoon in Maine
"Wild Thing" is taking the sun in the driveway and I'm in the kitchen of the condo getting dinner in the oven.  The doorbell rings.  I answer to find a nice lady who says she has two questions...and she's pointing at "WT."  Her first question/comment is that she's excited to see a Lazy Daze and that she and her husband had gone out to The Mothership 10 years ago to look at LDs.  They ultimately decided upon a Tiger (Pro Van Industry, Columbia SC).  But they really liked the LDs, just were unsure of how to "handle" repairs with them in Maine and LD in CA.  I explained it is no issue.

The other question was about the condo village.

This lady and her husband were just back from a 7-week tour which took them west to Yellowstone and also to Glacier.  They saw a green and white one there...I told her about the LWALD discussion group and the photo each month...and Ted and Liz Houghton!  They were sorry to miss you at the Visitors Center!

So, far and wide, LDs are noticed and the news carries!

Hi, Tina,

Hmmm, it's been several years since our visit to Yellowstone and even longer since Glacier. We did have our green FL at Glacier in 2008, but in 2009 we got our silver RB which is what we were in at Yellowstone.

Ted...thought it was you two on the "cover page" last month!  It's these old eyes and aging brain!  But we are thinking of you!

When  do you folks figure to hit the road (I'm thinking Flagler Beach may be off the list for this year for you two)?

Tina, I didn't see the pic last month, but someone mentioned it - I think it was of our first LD which was green.

Unfortunately the LD is going to be parked in the snow this winter. Due to some health issues we've decided to stay home. Ugh! But hey, maybe I can see if I can break my leg on the slopes!

Where are you folks headed this winter?

Well, Ted.  I do sympathize on the health issues.  It's what's giving us a late start, but hope to clear home on 10/16 or so.  Please don't break a leg!

We're on a short Ramble this year and will take a month to wend our way to Melbourne Beach-Outdoor Resorts for the winter.  Family close by and that's important.  Last year was out to AZ and many, many points in between.  Hope to see new places and revisit some faves along the way to FL.

Best wishes and quick resolutions to health issues...so prevalent in our "golden" (then why is my hair now silver?) years.
