Getting closer to being an LD owner!
Hi guys,

Looks like I'm getting a few steps closer to being an LD owner! I've ran the numbers for about everything I can think of (except for maintenance), and I wanted to see if you guys think the figures sound reasonable!

Plates and Registration: $75 per year
Insurance: $240 a year
Storage: $356 for indoor storage from 10/21-4/1 (I'm in Indiana) then $60-80 per month during season for outdoor storage.

I think the indoor storage is a must due to our unpredictable, and sometimes brutal winters. I'd sure like to get the spring / summer outdoor storage price lower, but parking it in my driveway isn't an option.

Any advice is welcome!

Consider if code in your area will allow you to build storage on your property and you will keep the LD for ten years it may be worth it to build your own covered RV nest!

If you've already "run the numbers" of current costs for your local area, then you would know a lot better than people who aren't in the same area whether the figures are "reasonable".  :)  As has been said, total ownership costs of an RV are just too variable to be universally applicable!
