Heading East on Monday
One of the things I like about being based is MN is the central location...we alternate our "big trip" between East one year and West the next. Still planning on Hershey on Sept 13-15 and then wander up to New England and south as far as Key West. Preliminary plan is for about 2-3 months. Will be using boondockerswelcome.com for the first time. Please consider joining-I think it is a great concept. I can still host even though I won't be home, Steve will only be gone with me for 1 of the 3 months. My neighbor watches things when we're both gone and can arrange things in our absence.

Just a reminder to those traveling to the northeast.  The North East Lazy Daze club will be meeting in New Hampton, New Hampshire, on the west side of Lake Winnipesaukee September 7 through the 11th.  Stop by and say hi if you are in the neighborhood.  More details on the NELD web page.

Thanks for the link, Todd!

I have not used them to date but here is another group for those interested in free boondocking at farms, wineries, etc. I believe there is a small fee to join but sounds worth it:

Ed & Margee--

"heading north..."  If you're trekking up I-35 I could pop over to Cameron for a face-to-face--though I'm leaving for Ladeze in Idaho on Tuesday, but maybe when ya'll head back south.

Have a great trip--it's finally starting to cool down, though it's Missouri, so it's only down 'til it's up again.   ;D   Lots of rain from SW of Kansas City across north Missouri last night...when the sun hits the wet ground it will become a sauna again.   :P   Happy Trails!

Hello Lynne.  Actually we're only going to visit a couple of north Texas State Parks.  We just need to get out of town, enjoy some quiet, and hope the heat doesn't ruin it.  It would have been a treat to meet another LD owner!  Let us know if your travels bring you into North Texas.  We know of several special places that are fun to eat.  And I'm so eager for cooler weather ... can't wait.
