Adjusting thermister
I have not been able to find anything on adjusting the thermister in a Dometic frig. Discivered that, at some point in time, mine fell out of the holder on the fin. Is it position sensitive? If so what impact does it have on the frig temperature?  Thanks for your help.

Yes; move the thermistor to the top of the fin on the far right for colder temperatures, being careful not to pull the wires loose. If  the thermistor lost its grip on the fin, carefully reposition it and slide it up.

The thermistor holder in our fridge cracked and would not hold the wire and sensor in place.  I ordered another from a parts store Joan recommended.  Sorry I no longer have the link, it may be available in the archive.  I thought I had an issue with my unit.  It was just the thermistor in the wrong spot.
On the drive last week to FL in near 100 deg weather the fridge stayed around 36-40 degrees during the hottest part of the day.  The fridge was on the middle of five settings, the slide a little over half way up the vent.

Last year, I found that retaining clip just laying on a shelf in the frig and I couldn't figure out what it was.  Now I know and I'm heading back to RV storage to see actually what is what?  I want to show this post to DW who has taken that clip and studied the frig also trying to figure out it's purpose.  LOL.

A few hours later ... wouldn't you know.  That sliding clip is missing!  We kept that piece for nearly a year and now that we know what it is, it's missing.  Oh well ...
