Using the Quote button
I noticed some folks are using cut and paste to quote prior posts.  There's an easier way  :)

At the bottom right of the post you want to quote in yours, click "QUOTE".  This puts that post's text in a quote block and starts a new post in the thread with the quoted text at the top.

Now, edit down (delete) the quote to just the relevant portions (aka clip the quote) since leaving the whole post quoted makes if difficult to know what part you're responding to, asking about, or highlighting.

Also, if you want to quote more than one post, when you Preview, you can scroll down the page and click "Insert Quote" on the other posts you want to quote (this will insert that quote block wherever your cursor was in your post).  Again, clip the quotes down as appropriate.
