The interior wall material in my 2003 is a white vinyl-covered board; later model years are beige/tan with a more matte finish, but it's still vinyl-covered composite.The drawer fronts and cabinet/cupboard door *trim* are real wood, but the door panels are vinyl laminated to thin composite and backed with the same material to present a finished appearance on the interior side of the cupboard/cabinet doors; again, AFAIK, the closet doors are the same construction, but this *may* have changed in more recent models.Joan

The large bathroom door are the exception, only having a wood interior framing with the exterior paneling being the same plastic coated thin plywood. The paneling has varied in color and strength through the years. I have found some of the cherry paneling to be much less durable, with a surface that can be scraped off with finger nail. With enough time, cold and heat, the plastic coating with start debonding on the doors, usually in the corners. Not sure if any type of maintenance will have a major effect on the longevity of the coating.The wall and ceiling paneling is constructed the same way as the door paneling. My 2003 has a curved, plastic-coated, white trim piece, under the rear window, that is debonding. The window is subjected to the summer's sun, while parked at home, and even with shade pulled, it gets hot. Need to see if LD still sells the right color piece or find it online.Larry
