Just a reminder to folks in our group - If you need to repair something, it's a good idea to check the Lazy Daze Companion for info on how to fix the problem, especially if you're not quite sure how to handle it.                         I recently had a broken drawer slide and couldn't figure out a simple way to take care of the problem, so as a last resort, I checked the Lazy Daze Companion. Found the very simple solution with clear instructions, and a photo that turned what I thought would be an ordeal into a 15 - 20 minute fix. Thanks to Andy Baird, Chris Horst, and Steve Chandler for this particular item.

The Lazy Daze Companion is the brainchild product of Ted H and CoolDeltaMike, who gathered together questions and responses relating to caring for, servicing, maintaining and repairing or replacing stuff on our Lazy Daze RVs. They compiled these into a how-to kind of site, added some pics, some links, and organized it in such a way that it is fairly easy to find the information you need. I see the link was provided in another response, so you dont need that again from me.

wicked good work by those that have put it together. It is the first place I go when something crops up.

I though the original companion is the product of Andy Biard. Ted and others have put together campground listings - most state parks, and Federal campgrounds designed to keep your dollars safely in your pocket. Most of the campgrounds are beautiful and are great for a respite off the road.

Andy compiled Eureka! Ted and Don compiled The Lazy Daze Companion. Ted also did the Ultimate Campground Project which now reports on nearly 25,000 public campgrounds. An amazing source of information.

Thanks Chris for the clarification. My hat is off to both Ted and Don for their great work on both projects.

"I though the original companion is the product of Andy Baird."

Nope! In fact, I initially pooh-poohed the idea, because I thought it'd be too much work to maintain, and that people might not make the jump from this site to that one. Boy, was I wrong! And I'm so glad that Ted and CoolDeltaMike put in the substantial effort to create the Companion, because it's an extremely useful resource. My hat is off to those guys!

Andy: Got it. I hope that Ted and "Cool Delta Mike" saw my earlier thanks to them for the great work that they have accomplished to keep the rest of us with two left hands on the road! {:>)
