Note there is no material data given to know what it actually has as active ingredients.Steveflex-seal joke, 8.5.2014 I baught over 2 cases of flex seal (not here)for my motor home after a hail storm. I cleened the roof as instructed. I put on the first coat and it seamed to work fine, so I bought the second case in the fall and put it on before I put it away for the winter. When I got it out in the spring a put it in my driveway I found some small white spects on my driveway after a rain storm (no hail) Later that week it rained again and I found more spects so I climed up to the roof of my motor home and more that 2/3 of the flex seal was gone. The time period was last than 2 months of it being out of storge. I called flex-seal to see what was going on with this stuff and was tolg it only has a 30 day warrenity. And was told by the person I was talking to that yes it will was off in the rain. Boy was I suppized to hear that. I will never buy this stuff again seeing that I now have a seiling that needs to be cleaned form water damage. But the good news it that they offered to send me some more flex seal to respray it. Just what I want to do is prep the roof again and waste more time so it can wash off. Reviewer: Dennis Hansen (Durand, wi)

Based on what people who have worked on silicone-contaminated boats and RVs have told me, it's quite possible that after applying this stuff, you might never be able to get anything to adhere to that roof again, unless you cleaned it down to the bare metal. That's just my guess, and I could be wrong... but it's not an experiment I'd want to try.Andy Baird
