GPS POI Files Question April 05, 2016, 08:32:57 pm Yahoo Message Number: 159707I've never loaded a POI file into a GPS until tonight. We bought the POI file for The Ultimate Public Campgrounds Project, which lead me to the POI factory website. If I install several of these interesting POI files, does the GPS (Garmin) automatically display that information into the map? Accessing the POI files varies in detail, but in general, you will use the Garmin Where To function, then navigate to the POI files. On one of my Garmins it is under Extras.
