Generator ground April 05, 2016, 11:45:01 am Yahoo Message Number: 159705The other day, I gave a confusing description of the generator grounding system. Coming from the generator is a stranded copper wire. The end of that wire terminates at a copper ground plate. I posted a photo called generator ground plate.(before it was all cleaned up for reattachment) This plate has a lug that secures the stranded wire to the plate. Interestingly enough, this lug is not copper. It's a shiny metal of some type. The copper plate is then attached to the steel framework of the chassis.
