Spam coming to LWALDRV made to look like from IRS
Yahoo Message Number: 159625
Just a heads up: I received this email which I have pasted in so it won't harm you. Unfortunately, I know I am not getting a refund this year so it obviously is spam. It came as part of a LWALDRV message.

Thanks, Chris. I didn't see this, but a sure red flag that it's SPAM is the closing; since when does the IRS sign a legitimate letter with "Regards"!? ;-)

Besides which, even if you are getting a refund, the IRS doesn't make you fill out a form (other than your tax return) in order to get your refund!

Plus, the first contact with the IRS would not be through email -- or a telephone call. They'd send out a letter via USPS.
