Any thoughts about towing this much weight?
According to the Ford specs ... a V-10 or E-450 is rated at a Gross Combination Weight Rating of 20,000 pounds. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 14,050 pounds. When you subtract GVWR from GCWR you get 5950 pounds. So that weight would seem the max weight of a towing vehicle or trailer. But and this is a large problem the max weight of the LD 2" receiver hitch is 4000 pounds.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee is still a lot of vehicle to tow behind a Class C motorhome. We used to do it with a SOB having a Chevrolet 454 engine. It was a grind, and we often had to disconnect on mountain passes. I would stick with the Honda Fit. They make great toads.
