"I have an '08 MB. I have no storage compartment behind my range and kitchen drawers."

Ditto my 2003 Midbath. Is it possible Jim is talking about a Rear Kitchen model? That also has a bathroom located amidships, although Lazy Daze doesn't call it a midbath.

Ken and Andy, I apologize my incorrect designation of the LD model that we have.  In the past, I referred to it as a RK but, in looking through some of the documentation that came with the LD when we bought it, I found reference to a MB and assumed that I had been wrong from the start.  Thank you for defining this for me. I have never be in a MB so I don't really know how they differ.  I will lookup the layouts so that I will know this.

I understand that air space around the back of the oven is needed and, whatever I might do to seal the compartment would still provide that space.  I just question the necessity of the "free flow" of air from the storage compartment into the adjacent drawer and sink areas.  With all of this space open to the compartment, it may be pulling air through the storage compartment and inside of the LD. This is not enough of an issue to risk doing something that could be hazardous.  I was just curious if anyone else had addressed it and what they might know about the risk if any.

Thanks for your responses.  Again, I apologize for the misrepresentation.  I agree with Andy that the LD model designations might be a little confusing given the fact that the bath "is" in the middle of a RK.

Jim, NC, 04 "RK"

Thanks for clarifying, Jim. My post contained links to the particular layouts I was discussing, but you can find all the layouts in the "Models and floorplans" section of the "Lazy Daze Pocket Guide" website.
