03 MB Driver Cabin Engine Heat
Sorry for the re-post but still looking for an answer. Quite awhile ago there was a post in Techsnoz or somewhere that dealt with air/heat leaking form the engine compartment into the cab area. I think it was a needed gasket replacement but not sure. Anyway here's my problem:
Driver cabin is hot on passenger side? Unable to locate were the leak is. Dog house is tightly sealed and not leaking. Passenger side hot air seems to be coming from under the dash where the heater is? Also I blew a heater hose on the top passenger side of the engine on my last trip. My fault ,as I over revved going down hill and the excessive water pressure forced the heater hose off. However the resulting steam and vapor leaked into the cab through the right side defroster vent, and a mass amount from under the passenger dash, and actually along the floor by the right side door? Any help would be appreciated. It's an '03 MB - 85,000 miles in excellent condition. (except for this).

There's lots of LD's out there and there's got to be others with the same problem? Running the AC to balance air temp is not the answer.

Thanks in advance.
