Good idea, but I have a few questions.  First, the existing roof surface is a finish which has a fair degree of friction when wet.  Did the new paint maintain that?  Second, did you have to do any surface prep or any post-painting treatment?

No doubt, some traction was lost. I should test, going over any shiny spots with fine steel wool to see if that will return the factory finish. Good point as traction is important. I resist going up there when it's damp.

The paint was in good condition, except for being stained in places, so no prep was necessary, other than cleaning.

In another thread I asked what type of Dicor to use. AM Solar uses 502LSW Self Leveling Sealant. So I ordered some to cover the VHB tape on one of the feet on the solar panels.  I learned that some have used constructive adhesive to anchor the panels. That will sure work - forever I expect. The VHB has lasted since 2007 until I pried it loose by tilting a panel with one end still locked. I know some use screws, but the VHB works fine for me.
