LD repairs in SoCal

I'm looking for RV repair for my HWH levelers.    Rick's RV repair in San Clemente is the closest -- I've not had service done there, just supplies.    CW in San Marcos installed the levelers and I've been back once since'02 for repair.     I have no real complaints about service there but ''communication'' is spotty.      Unfortunately, I compare everything to LD service at mothership and how good service/communication can be.

Also thinking of the Plug-In-Play Duo brake system install too.

Anyone know a great (I'll settle for good)  service department around San Clemente?     (I'm OK traveling...)

For your HWH jacks, I strongly suggest either removing them yourself or having someone remove them and send them back to HWH for rebuilding.  I tried finding a local hydraulic shop where I live to work on them and quickly found that HWH won't sell seal kits to outside shops making parts difficult to track down.
Removal on my LD, with kick-down style HWH jacks isn't hard.  You un-clip a wire harness, remove and cap the hydraulic line, and then remove 4 bolts to disconnect the jack from the plate (which is welded to the RV).  Any mechanic can do it, once you find the proper size hydraulic line caps.
Box up the jacks and UPS them to HWH.  They will send you re-buiilt jacks (not your actual jacks) in exchange and charge you based on what was wrong with the ones you returned.  I found HWH customer service to be helpful on the phone.
For parts, supplies, and other HWH advice, I like Stuarts Service in Elkhart, IN.  http://www.rvleveling.com/contact-stuarts-service.html

I've purchased parts from them a few times and they are always quite helpful.
