SO-CAL CARAVAN CLUB OUTING
Yahoo Message Number: 157920
Just wanted to let the forum members know that the Southern California Caravan Club will be having an outing January 13-17 at La Paz County Park on the Colorado River, eight miles north of Parker, Arizona.  This is a new venue for many members, as the Club hasn't been at this site in over ten years.  With limited exceptions for medical necessities*, there are no hookups, so a good chance to exercise your boondocking skills.  A free dump station is available, as is water (although it is recommended that you arrive with full tank).  No reservations are necessary, and you may show up (and leave) any days of your choice.  Camp fee is $23 with electric, and $17 for dry.  There will be a cider and cocoa social Thursday afternoon, followed by team trivia competition.  Crafts and Tech Talk on Friday, the latter subject to Terry Tanner making it.  Saturday is the all-camp washer-toss tournament and General Meeting.  Anyone with a Lazy Daze is invited to join us, and wanna-be's can take the opportunity to tour virtually every floor plan.  Quartzite and the "big tent" will be underway about 40 miles south, and many Club members will be taking that in as well.  So start the New Year off right and get on the road!  For maps, weather, and La Paz information, go to :  www.lazydazecaravanclub.org

* Electric sites must be arranged in advance by calling Chairperson Al Granger (760) 323-3010

Directions:  La Paz County Park, 7350 Riverside Drive, Parker, AZ 85344 (928) 667-2069 GPS:  34 219    114.199    (Sorry, can't figure out the degrees circle on my computer)

From Parker, take Hwy 95 north 7 miles to Golf Course Drive and turn left.  Then turn right on Riverside Drive.  The entrance will be 1/2 mile up.  Follow entry road to the host tent.
