MB Bathroom Door Latch
Yahoo Message Number: 157918
This is an unsolicited opinion on the MB bathroom door latch.  It seems to us that the latch on the MB bathroom door takes quite a bit of side-to-side stress when the Coach is moving.  And perhaps more stress than any other latch because of the direction of the latch on the door.  After we replaced the broken latch on our MB, we noticed that the latch and striker were not as close as they should be when the door was closed.  So I cut a piece of material out of a rubber drawer liner and made a seal/gasket to go behind the striker.  This closed the gap between the latch and striker and made the closure a bit tighter.  We also bought a rubber door stopper from Home Depot (http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-Heavy-Duty-Brown-Doorstop-4214044EB/203672100) which we place under the BR door when traveling.  This seems to take side-to-side stress off the latch, which we think will prolong the life of the latch.  And that's all I got to say about BR latches.
