Needed: Recommendation for a quality consignment dealer in Southern

I would like to leave my 2004 30 IB with a quality consignment dealer in Southern California. I'm from Oregon so don't know the area but feel Southern California would be the best place to sell my Lazy Daze so I want to drop it off. Can you recommend a quality dealer? Thanks.

Dale:  Did you try to list her on the LD site in the files section?   We brought our first LD there and sold her there when we purchased our new LD.  Both the purchase and the sale went very quickly without having to pay a 10% consignment fee.

I'm sure you know about Guaranty RV in Oregon.  While we were searching for a LD, I found at least two (2) sold LDs listed by this place.  Guaranty RV made youtube videos on these LDs.  I thought they were well done and very complementary of LD construction and value.  Of course, they could be as goofy as a $3.00 bill since I've never actually dealt with them.

Ed and Margee: I know of a wonderful consignment lot in Oregon but felt Southern California would be the best location especially since we are in the south now as snowbirds.

Just a personal not on Guaranty. It is a popular dealer, however we tried to purchase from them about 9 years ago. They treated us so badly we walked out when the salesman left to "talk with the manager".

Good luck! We have sold two RVs on a consignment lot in Sequim, WA. Both netted us more than we would have asked, so they made their fee. It was good to be able to be hands off in the deal too. Last summer was a hot market, so maybe there is some carryover. Sorry not to have a direct answer.

Looking at your LD makes me want to start full timing sooner than later. I have to say, that is one of the best, if not, the best ad for a LD I've ever seen.  I would snap it up in a second if I could.  You'll have no problem selling it. It was a pleasure reading your ad.  Your LD is gorgeous.

Dale:  The ad looks great and should bring out a buyer or two!  Best wishes for a quick sale.  Your travel itinerary looks great.  We have visited the areas and have been "wowed" by what you see and what can be done.  Quartzite still fascinates us.
