Onan Generator carburetor cleanning

I wonder if anyone has had experience on the Onan Generator Micro Quiet 4000 KY model failed to start due to carburetor gummed up. I tried an off the shelf carburetor cleaner spraying into the carburetor from air filter housing and from the fuel line into the carburetor fuel bowl but neither actions helped the generator to start. Any good and more effective way to clean the carburetor? Anyone had experience taking the carburetor out cleaning it or replacing it? Thanks a lot in advance!

I had exactly the same problem.  It took me two days of repeatedly pushing through carb cleaner the same way you are trying Finally got it going.  Only thing I can suggest is to be sure and spray the cleaner up in there good and let it sit and repeat.

If you have a local Oman dealer they can take it out and clean it. Had this done couple of years ago has been great since
