Left rear sprng bolt contacting Black Water Tank October 07, 2015, 11:13:09 pm Yahoo Message Number: 156255I had our 2013 31 IB in for 15K service the other day.The report included the following:"THE LEFT REAR SPRING MOUNT PERCH BOLT IS CONTACTING THE BLACK WATER HOLDING TANK. COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE FUTURE LEAKING OR DAMAGE TO THE TANK."I took a look a look when I got home, verified the issue, and took several photos. Has anyone seen this before? This this configuration normal for this model? There does not appear to be erosion into the tank wall as yet.Joel & Mary 2013 31 IB / 2011 Honda CRV Towd

Depending on the contact area, it may not be a problem. Is the black water tank mounted securely where it should be? They have been known to come out of their mounting brackets, maybe just on one side and be hanging from the plumbing. Does the perch bolt mounting bracket look bent? Compare it with the corresponding bolt on the other side. I had two of the four rivets holding the bracket with the perch bolt break, and the bracket folded up partway. Ford towed it in under warranty and repaired my '99 TKB for free. it was the forward mount of the leaf spring on the driver side. Hope this helped. RonB
