I want to repainted the black faux Windows on the front of my '91 27' coach. My questions are; what procedures, such as sanding, priming and painting did you do? What kind of paint, specifically should I use?

Good question Dale.

We have the same issue on our 2007 and would like to refurbish this area too. Perhaps direct information from the mfr would be best?

Might be considered sacrilegious, but have you considered customized vinyl graphic decals as an option? One could get fairly creative with design as this is such a prominent area.

I am interested in painting them myself. Does anyone else have any experience in painting these windows? Dale from Downey?

I have used Bondo  "Restore Black" This is 3M product. After 6 months it still looks good. Cleaned the surface with Acetone and applied the gel with a 2"x5"  applicator (included). Package states - restores black color to faded vinyl, rubber and plastic surfaces. Cleans with soap and water. Bought it at Walmart in 2011 for $7.00  in the clearance section. Original price was $9.74. Product number on box - 800ES . Info: www.3MCarCare.com.

"has anyone used the Bondo product on the bottom part of the front bumper:"

Bill, you didn't say what Bondo product you meant. For what it's worth, I repainted my bumper a couple of years ago. I used Duplicolor bumper paint, available in black or gray. (I chose black.) Any auto-parts store should have it in stock, or you can buy it from Amazon.

I used the whole can to apply four or five coats. Cost: $6.86 for the paint, plus a couple of bucks for the masking paper. Two years later, it still looks quite good.
