Lost oil pressure SOS

Hi Everyone,  my situation has turned dire.  Lost oil pressure while driving my 95' Ford 460 c.i. LD yesterday. Oil was changed in March and level was full with prior to trip check.  The engine never over heated and there is no water in the oil.  However, I didn't notice until I heard lifter and valve knocking.  I had to continue driving several miles to pull out to a safe spot.   It is awaiting diagnosis at a local garage.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure the garage can handle the repairs.  Does anyone know a garage in Sonoma County they can refer?   I'm afraid my engine is toast.
Regards, Craig

Where are you in Sonoma County?

I am not certain but I believe there may be a good Ford guy in Cloverdale. My hubby Pete can confirm, he may have other ideas from when he was looking for good Ford mechanics in the area. Pete?

So sorry for your SOS!

I live in Santa Rosa and had my old rig, a '95 Midbath, serviced at Valley Tire and Brake.  They have an engine maintenance department.  They replaced the engine in it many years ago.  I have taken my cars and rigs to them over the years and trust them.  When I sold my old rig, the new owner had it inspected at Jeff's Twin Oaks Garage in Penngrove.  They also seemed like a quality garage.

Good Luck.
