Oh no March 24, 2015, 01:11:54 am Yahoo Message Number: 151714We're sitting in the psrking lot at Petey's Tire and Repair Shop in Gila bend Az. The alternator bit the dust about 60 miles from town. We limped in and the owner drove to Buckeye to get the parts so he could fix it tonight since he'll be closed tomorrow. Total for alternator and battery - $490.00. That included his time for the drive. Nobody in town had the right one and I don't know how much shipping would have been. Seems a bit high but he's a nice guy and seemed to know what he was doing. We have a level spot with electric. There's no rush to leave tomorrow since he won't be open.An interesting aside - the Goodyear repair shop across the street recommended Petey's.

But at least you have a good parking spot with electricity in which to spend the weekend. While you're there, check out the Space Age Lodge Restaurant. :-)Andy Baird
