Barbeque Grill?

I have a small Weber Smokey Joe charcoal grill that I carry in my tow car.  However, I'm in the market for a small tabletop gas grill and would like one that would fit in one of the storage bays.  That's going to difficult since the clearance is ten inches, and the only one I've found is the O-Grill.
So, what kind of gas grill do members have and where do you store it.  I'm leaning toward buying a Brinkmann two burner at Home Depot.  It's $99.00 and I have a $50.00 gift card.
It's just that I'd like to store it in one of the cargo bays, but that's probably not going to happen.

Thanks, Cheryl

Cheryl,
If your Mid-Bath has the bigger door where the dinette seat is you can put a Weber Baby Q in that compartment. Not the one with the temperature gauge. You do have to remove the cover first and put it back on when the grill base is inside. Measure you door and measure a grill base before buying, it is a close fit.

Many BBQ will fit I the big, exterior storage compartment. I have a good size propane BBQ stored there, along with a lot of other tuff. Add a shelf to cut the space in half, to utilize all the storage space.

The BBQ shown is a 13 year old, US Catalytic BBQ that isn't available anymore.

Cheryl, we have an Olympian gas grill and it fits in the small compartment of our '89 TK. I think it's the Tabletop model designed for RVers. Amazon and Camping World both sell them. We like it much better than the Weber Baby Q. When our first Olympian finally succumbed to the inevitable Jersey saltwater rust we switched to the Weber and switched back to Olympian when our Weber suffered the same fate. The Olympian has a temperature gauge and gets hotter than the Weber for searing steaks. The oldjerseyguy claims it's easier to clean, too.

I forgot to mention that the Olympian is less than 9" high. The Weber did not fit in the small compartment on a TK.

That's the same BBQ we have, as shown in my previous posting. Didn't know they were still produced.
http://www.amazon.com/Camco-57301-Olympian-Tabletop-Grill/dp/B000BV01CA The Olympian is a sturdy BBQ, made from cast aluminum, ours is 12 years old and still is in great shape.
It folds up well and fits fine in the big storage compartment.
It replaced a Weber Go Anywhere propane BBQ. The Weber was a nice BBQ but  the thin stamped steel shell didn't like salt air and rusted out after just a few years of beach camping.
http://www.weber.com/grills/series/go-anywhere The Olympian doesn't seem to mind salt air at all.

Larry, it is the same grill. It lasted for 9 years before we left it out in a flood. The Weber rusted through without being submerged. Our current Olympian is only 3 years old.

The Weber did not fit in the small compartment on a TK.
--- The Weber Q1000 (the Q1200 is even taller) doesn't fit in *any* of the compartments of the TK unless one takes the lid off. :-(

Because of that issue, I got this one:

http://www.hayneedle.com/product/napoleontq2225potravelqportablegrill.cfm

The Napoleon O grill sold on Hayneedle is the older version of the one now sold on Amazon and a few other sites. According to the manufacturer, the "close-out" on Hayneedle and the new model (http://www.amazon.com/Napoleon-TQ2225PO-Travel-Portable-Orange/dp/B0075IIA02/ref=sr_1_15?ie=UTF8&qid=1425424921&sr=8-15&keywords=napoleon++grill ) are the same grill, but the new one is about $75 more; must be that orange lid! ;-)

I haven't used this grill yet; when I do, I'll write a review!

We use the Coleman All In ONe and like it a great deal.

Very versatile and fits in the storage compartment.

After several years of trying and not being happy with several different grills, we finally settled on the Coleman Fold-n-Go grill:
 http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/coleman-fold-n-go-grill/43823

It's only 6 ½" high and should fit in any outside compartment.
It's also the best performing portable grill we have ever had. It heats up quickly and does a great job. The grilling surface isn't very big, but plenty large enough for the two of us.

We are now on our second Weber Go-Anywhere gas grill, over about 15 years now. To stow, we disassemble all except the ignitor, and invert the lid into the bottom, with all components stowed in the lid. The legs slip over the top, so the whole thing is about 6" high. Assembly and dis-assembly only take a couple of minutes - just one wingnut to remove. I keep it in a bag to keep the compartment clean. I have yet to find another gas grill I can make so compact.

We said bye, bye to the propane BBQ's earlier this year. They are messy and a pain to clean.
We went all electric. It's easy to clean and fits in the small LD kitchen sink for washing or the whole thing can go into the dishwasher at home.  We store it in the cabinet above the living room couch.   Plus it's was a heck of a lot cheaper than a propane BBQ; and no more propane bottles to carry.
When dry camping, we use it when we are running the generator to charge the batteries.

Cheap throw away BBQ grill.  {:>)  There are throw away BBQ systems that you get one use and then dispose of.  I have not seen one lately but we used to use them in Vietnam when we got a hold of fresh steaks and later for family BBQ's on the beach.   Google it.  {:>)

Charcoal bbqs basically don't get 'dirty'. The remaining coals when cooking is done incinerate all residue to ash. Of course, it takes awhile to get it going, and you have to wait a long time before it is all cool ash, but a close to self-cleaning as you can get!
I also don't really understand how an electric bbq stays cleaner inherently than a gas one, nor is easier to clean? Must be a particular design rather than the principle...
