Range fan and light repair replace

Hi all,

Now that I've gained a bit of confidence with a minor plumbing fix, I thought I'd try my hand at electrical. The range fan in my '97 TK has never worked and since I'm replacing lights with LEDs, I thought I'd pull off the range fan to see what I can see. Not much, it turns out. Are there any step by step guides on replacing the fan? I don't want to tear into the range hood (I just pulled it off by removing the 4 screws) without being able to put it back together.
