Thanks to Chris for taking over as head moderator.  And thanks to Larry and Judie for their work as well.  I have been a member of this group for most of the 15 years that my wife Adele and I have owned our second LD.  I have enjoyed all the conversations and information posted by group members.  I rarely post but I always read all the posts that come through my email.  I have especially enjoyed learning from and following the travels of Andy and want to personally thank him for making all of this possible.  I am looking forward to enjoying my membership in this group for many years to come.

I join the others in support of Chris the new moderator. Thank you for stepping up. I know the class and order demonstrated by this group will continue as usual with a quality individual at the Helm. Thanks to Chris and all that have contributed to this fine group. Hope to see some of you in a couple weeks at Morro Bay.

Bob

"You have my thanks and, I'm sure, many others."

---- Indeed Chris does have the thanks, appreciation, and gratitude of all of us for so generously offering to wear the "board owner's hat" and keep this wonderful resource moving along! A big thanks also to Judie and Larry; worthy successors all! ;-)

"3 good people needed to do what you have made look easy all these years!"

Oh, it's been far from a one-man show. Judie has been a co-moderator for as long as I can remember, working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. Although not often visible, her help has been invaluable.

And Larry, although not officially a co-moderator until now, has been contributing his knowledge and skills all along. That won't change, and I'm sure that Chris will be up to the task of keeping an eye on things  as leader of the group.

We're very fortunate to have such skilled people... people who are willing to devote some of their time to keeping this group that we all get so much benefit from alive and well.

Everything is fine, Nancy. If you read message #150767 and the following thread, you'll find answers to your questions. :-)

Gosh!, I'm very surprised but very happy to see you take the position.
Now, you have to keep me in line.
Good luck.

I would like to join all that support and commend our new moderators for their unselfishness as they continue to provide a good home for this Group.

My son found Andy on the Internet about five years ago and pointed me to his writings when I started to look for a replacement for my 1990 Hawkins Class A wide body diesel pusher. I've read Andy's blogs, including Eureka, several times as well as "The Lazy Daze Companion" and finally joined this Group!

I finally bit the bullet and bought a very well maintained 2003 RB late last year and I pretty much gave my Hawkins away. The members of this Group have been so informative and gracious to me and answered all my questions, regardless of how simple/silly they might have been. I will be looking forward to meeting many of you on the road when I leave Lake Havasu City's heat behind me this year.

Thank you Andy for all you've done to share a way of life with so many. Good luck and best wishes to Chris. Larry and Judy in their future endeavors to keep this Family together.

Fred

That will be the first order of business, Larry.
Thanks to all of you for the kind words and votes of support. Indeed I am looking forward to working behind the scenes to keep this forum the quality channel of Lazy Daze facts and information that it has been over the last 15 years. Lifewithalazydazerv has been successful and has flourished because its members, with rare exceptions, have been and are kind, thoughtful and civil with each other. I don't see that changing.
Some personal background: My wife, Pat, and I live in Arvada, CO, a northwest suburb of Denver. We are fortunate to have 2 (sons) of our 3 children and 4 of our 6 grandkids in the metro area. Our daughter lives in Big Sky, MT, a place we love to visit because it's so postcard beautiful. I retired 12 years ago after working 30 years in a variety of positions with Hallmark Cards. Fifteen years ago next May we picked up our Lazy Daze 30' IB at the factory. We broke the rule that said you should at least rent an RV before you buy one. But it's all worked out. Fifteen years and 68,000 miles later I finally know the difference between AC and DC.
I'd like to thank Andy, co-moderators and previous moderators for their contributions over the years. They will be a tough act to follow. And Judie and Larry, I'm so glad to have you as co-moderators.
We will be leaving the end of the month for SoCal and the Morro Bay Lazy Daze get together. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you there.

Chris

My turn!

Chris, as a fellow Coloradan (formally Boulder County, now Grand Junction), I want to say "thank you" for taking on this task.  I religiously read your posts, many of which have expanded my knowledge of my LD and its use.  I still have one of three sons living on the Front Range, a teacher living in Centennial and nearing retirement.

Judie Ashford is a good friend, and Larry Wade has been my advisor on specific repair tasks and my Cherokee tow setup.

I am really grateful for such a terrific moderator team.
