It all so applies to the LD MH in regard to how much cargo we can carry. Note that the first MH only has a 210 cargo carry capacity left. The F350 has a 1492 cargo capacity left. I do not know when the law went into effect but I do not see one on my 2005 LD MHhttps://gi118.infusionsoft.com/app/hostedEmail/553080/3eb502537d4a256c?inf_contact_key=12758008df665758ab9366b8a9c9be697de5c2065ac79196322c2cf7f76c3866GeorgeRetired plumber

Looks like until that time manufacturers generally picked just what kind of word and how to define that word as they saw fit. Labeling requirements were not put into effect until them as I understand it. https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2007/12/04/E7-22962/federal-motor-vehicle-safety-standards-cargo-carrying-capacity glen google.com/+grhafford
Re: O.C.C.C. Reply #2 – January 30, 2015, 02:51:20 pm Yahoo Message Number: 150662The actual federal standard is: Title 49 Code of Federal Standards, Section 571, Standard 120 (or 49 CFR 571.120). The standard can be found on several web sites one of them being: http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title49/49cfr571_main_02.tplThis standard defines in detail the RV weight label requirements for both the original labels to be provided by the RV manufacturer and the labels to be added by dealers/distributors for additions to the vehicle. There are versions for motor homes and for towed RV's. This same standard also defines how tires and rims are to be marked to indicate their specifications. The RV weight labels are in Section S.10. Figures 1 to 3 in Section 10.5.2 in show examples of the labels. These are at the end of the document. RVIA references this standard as the way in which their members are to specify the weight and load carrying capacity of an RV. From what I have seen, some manufacturers conform and some do not. I own a 2014 Nexus and its labels look like those in the standard. However, the weight calculations were not made exactly as specified. There is an issue with the definition of the RV configuration when it leaves the factory. My previously owned 2005 LD was not even close. It used a scheme probably created by LD. I have not seen the labels in a current model LD. A couple of years ago I did see the labels in a 2013 model. They were not exactly the same as the labels shown in the standard. A point that I found interesting is that the labels go on the passenger's side door post, not on the driver 's side. I believe that the labels are yellow.Doug
