Exterior pressurized water intake

I managed to break this off when I drove out of a narrow driveway with a pressure  guard attached.

So, I emptied all the water, then took off the three phillips screws. It seems to be able to turn but I don't know if there is a connection attached to this or I'm breaking it. So I stopped.

Any ideas on how to remove and replace it?

This is a 1987 rear bath LD. Love our Ms Daisy.

I do not recall seeing a reply to your problem.
If your unit is like most campers your problem is a union. The joint that you are trying to brake is a union not a standard IPS tapered thread. You need to look inside the MH and find where it comes through the wall. You should see a nut with wings; back this nut off and the unit on the out side will come out. But first replace the screws that you removed or have some one hold it in place.

When you replace the inlet valve be sure to lube/Dope the face's of the union and the threads so the nut goes on easy. It dose not make any difference what you use for dope. Good old Vaseline will do if that is all you have.
