Coach door weatherstripping replacement November 29, 2014, 11:20:44 am Yahoo Message Number: 149756Hi Joan. Too late to save you the work, but Bonnie and others can use this. The foam just crumbled on my '99, so I just wiped it off leaving that clear tape behind and residual pieces of foam. My attempts to remove it were painfully slow. I got my cheap heat gun (less than $9 at HF) on low about a foot away; the tape peeled off in a long strip leaving almost no residue. GooGone took off the residual sticky stuff. The hardest part was the area where I had tried to scrape it. The clear tape was damaged and wouldn't peel. I used the white 3/4" wide foam tape from Home Depot instead of black. RonB
