IDEAS FOR SORAGE IN RB

I have my (first for me) 2010 RB that I have already put 70K miles on traveling about North America. I have a photo album on the LWALD group site called "Coachman's Enhancements to Monty" that might be helpful. Here is what storage works for us: Outside storage: Rear left compartment-- All sewerage dump items in plastic container and all shore power cords/adaptors/testers Front Left: On rear shelf-- two 6VDC AGM coach batteries w/disconnect attached to generator starter (to pass power to main coach AGM batteries); eight 2x8x10 wood blocks to put under Bigfoot jacks when needed; a Sears air compressor; tool box; wash bucket & supplies; wheel chocks; and a 5/8" piece of plywood covering the compartment floor to spread out the weight of the tool box and compressor.

Rear right- All fresh water hoses, water filter, and water accessories. I also placed rigid foil faced 3/4" foam insulation on the floor as the exhaust pipe heats this compartment too much.

Right front lower- Oreck  canister vacuum, more tools, drill, Dremmel, screws/fasteners; bulbs; glues, and plastic containers for above.

Right front under sofa - Folding chairs; folding 5' ladder (from camping World); awning handle &  brace; plastic containers for jumper cables, extension cords, flairs, TV coax, WD 40, electrical parts, etc---- Inside storage: Under refrigerator - Shoes Above gas range: Pots & pans Drawers under counter- Top: cooking tools. Bottom: Hot pads and other less used kitchen tools.

Under sink - plastic storage containers; paper plates & bowls; Under dinette seats: Plastic container holding cleaning supplies, canned food, juice bottles, etc.

Above dinnette - Plastic containers holding lighter food items Closet drawers - Clothing Shower: Dirty clothes hamper Front upper cabinets - Whatever else needs storage We use the cab-over bed (with a 4" memory foam mattress topper) for sleeping. Also extra folded blankets stay here.

Mike,

Exactly the type of feedback that I am looking for.  I will print your comments and bring them to my coach as a guide.  I noticed that the area above the exhaust has some amount of heat damage and i am looking for ways to deflect the heat away from the body using  some form of exhaust heat tape.  I like the idea of flooring for the left front area and the use of insulation on the right rear area.

Thank you,

Fred
