It seems through "trial and error" I've found some of the Lazy Daze bloggers.  Would it be possible to compile all of those folks somewhere on this site?  Just a suggestion...

Are you volunteering? The files are open to any member. Set up a blog file and start listing everyone you find.
Others in the group would be welcome to add their own favorite LD blogs.

While this may seem like a good idea and I'm sure that those who full time may not have any objections, but some of us who are snow birds and take summer vacations know that our blogs can be a security risk back home. We do the blog to keep our family and friends up to date on what we are doing. We also know that our blog does get passed along but we would like to keep as low a profile as possible. If you do plan to go ahead with this idea I would hope you contact the bloggers to get their permission to be put on the list.

If you have a blog (and it's not private) anyone on the Internet can access it.  It's not really all that difficult.  I actually did a Google search for "Lazy Daze Blogs" and came up with quite a number of hits.
Many blogs that I've visited of Lazy Daze owners already have a "nod" in their sidebar of other Lazy Daze owners with blogs.
I just felt that this would be a nice way to see where other Lazy Daze owners were traveling, etc...  If you have a blog and I included it in the list I apologize.  I'm not a full-timer, but I do like to blog - not only for family/friends, but to keep a record of where I've been and what I'm feeling at the time.

Dave, your concerns are legitimate. However, if someone like Cheryl can find out about your blog, then everybody else in the world does--via Google, Bing, or any other search engine. I'm sure Cheryl will be happy to remove your particular listing, but that won't stop anybody else from finding it.

If you want to keep a low profile, then you can't post a public blog. If you're truly concerned about security, then make your blog accessible only with a password, and give that password only to your family and friends, with a strict injunction not to pass it on. Otherwise all bets are off... anyone can find out where you are and--more important--where you aren't.

"It's not really all that difficult. I actually did a Google search for 'Lazy Daze Blogs' and came up with quite a number of hits."

It's unfortunate, but too many people still seem to think that there's a magic shield protecting what they post on the internet from people who shouldn't see it. People who tweet that they called in sick and went to a concert are always so surprised when the boss reads it and they get fired the next day. People who announce on Facebook that they're going on a Caribbean cruise for three weeks and come home to find the house ransacked... and so on.

If it can be found with a Google search, then bad guys can find it too. Always remember that, and act accordingly.

Not sure if its just my computer or browser but I was not able to open links to any of the blogs very easy.   It kept trying to download a file that my computer did not know how to open.  I had to view source to copy the URL's.  Anyone else have this problem?

It's not you; none of the links open for me, either. I have no idea how these file were set up, but I suggest that those interested in the blogs just copy and paste a blog's URL into the browser bar for a direct connection.

I'm not sure what was tried to upload these, but they are all empty files with just a filename and description.  Nothing gets downloaded when clicked.  As Joan suggested, for now the best best is to cut and paste the blog URL from each entry and paste it into a browser location bar.

Art and everyone else,

Had to go look to see what this list was all about... for one, whoever set it up, has the wrong format. One does not upload or download anything in regards to links. Since they are empty files, that's a non-issue. But in saying that I have had in the past... an issue with Yahoo on posting links.  The person who posted this page, only upload a page of links, which made the links non links. If he/she had uploaded a page to put links on, then add each link individually, the links would be viable.

And on my blog title - it is simply Woven Journey.  My name is not part of the title.

So a curious question... why is this list necessary?

It seems that a couple of people were upset about the blog list.  My intention for setting up the list was to provide a way to see what other Lazy Daze owners were doing, and not to upset anyone.  Some folks on this list post when they see a Lazy Daze in their travels - I thought it might be nice to know what other owners are doing as some Lazy Daze members do meet face-to-face.  If I have invaded anyone's "personal space," I apologize.  However, if you set up a blog that doesn't have password protected posts anyone and everyone can read what you write.

I originally put names to connect the blog with a person on this list.  I made the correction.

I have to counter with a question - Why is it not?  I can only speak for myself, but as a blog reader/writer I like to read what other folks are doing.  I know for a fact that some friendships have started among Lazy Daze owners.
I'm somewhat giddy with excitement over my new (to me) RV.  I've had lots of things done to it (back-up camera, solar panels, more 12-volt outlets, towing equipment, Wave 3 heater, and a television).  My RV guy is almost finished with the upgrades (although I'm not excited about the bill), and I plan to go to Puerto Penasco for Christmas.
Again, I sincerely apologize for stepping on any toes, and am happy to correct the list if you'd like to be added (or subtracted).

I think it's nice effort.  Most, if not all of these blogs have been mentioned in some past post on this forum.  I believe all of these blogs are publicly viewable, so there is really no privacy issue.  It would be nice not to have do a exhaustive search trying to relocate a reference to someone's blog.  The only problem I see was that the attempt to make the links available came up short of what was intended.
If the poster wants to add my photography oriented blog, I have no issue as it includes trips in our LD (as well as other major trips).  Art's Work

I avidly follow blogs of this nature, as well.  Not all of the authors are fortunate enough to have a Lazy Daze for their adventures, but their blogs are interesting nonetheless.  I keep a folder of bookmarks for such blogs and look forward each morning to read about others' adventures, dreaming about the day I will be able to participate.

My list has become a bit discombobulated lately, so I would certainly welcome a list already put together that I could copy and enjoy.

Virtual hugs,

Cheryl, I like the idea of a file of Lazy Daze bloggers and appreciate your efforts in putting it together.  Please feel free to add mine:  made2wander dot blogspot dot com.  And I hope Jim Herrick's blog is or will be included ; I'd be very interested in reading about his wilderness adventures.

Also, if you might be interested in joining our women-only annual campout, please send me a PM with your complete eddress so we can add you to our master mailing list: Lazydaze-Ladeze at hotmail dot com

This goes for any other women out there who would like information about the Lazy Daze Ladeze group.  Laurelee Scholes will be spearheading next year's event, and we'd like to update the mailing list.

For an idea of what happens at a Ladeze outing, please do visit the October 14 entry in my blog to check out activities at this year's GTG.

Well, its nice to see who was behind that email address. Hello Cheryl!  I wasn't one that was upset, but apparently you took offense to my email. It was not my intention to upset the apple cart.  Alot of us who maintain blogs, provide a list of our fellow LDer's blogs.  I do delete a blog that hasn't been updated in a one years time, but they do get reposted eventually.  I think of these lists as Meta tags - it brings interested folks to the blog, even if I haven't updated.  Its a no brainer to search for Lazy Daze bloggers, doesn't take any time at all.  Apparently, I missed the original messages on your desire to do such a list.  Sorry, I've been pretty occupied downsizing and have not had time to read all the messages.

What's with the so-called invading one's personal space stuff? Stepping on toes? Seriously!  Why would anyone post anything on the internet if you were afraid your personal space was in jeopardy. Even writing emails - that info is reposted in ads elsewhere on the internet to target your interests.  So I'm confused, guess I need to backtrack and read all the messages.

I started a blog so that my friends and family could see what I'm up to while full-timing. Far simpler to post to the blog then answer a ton of emails. We who live out on the road are busy people...

I stand corrected that yes, the links could be "cut and pasted" but from experience, if one can not just click on a link, the page gets no further action. Dead vs redundancy.

If you want to put names with the titles of one's blog. Put the name is brackets ( ).   I don't have a problem with that, but again folks going to the blog can find that out easily enough.

And Cheryl... wonderful and amazing friendships have been formed with the Lazy Daze family - whether they have a blog or not. Its been an amazing time getting to know the diverse group that makes up this group.

And congratulations on your new-to-you Lazy Daze.  Enjoy! Its been an amazing journey in my Lazy Daze and wish nothing but the best to you as you start on your adventures.

We love reading blogs that are written by Lazy Daze folks.  Full-timers tend to be the most interesting but there are others that don't feature the LD as prominently and are just as fun to read.  Thanks for the list.

Here is another.  The 1949 Buick

We started this one primarily for family and friends but the Lazy Daze is a large part of what is written currently and in future posts.  Dang, we haven't even updated it yet from the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta!  What kind of bloggers are we?

That is a great blog, but I kept looking for something about the 1949 Buick. Great picture though.
For you folks that are doing the blogging, what are you using for the blog? It looks like GoDaddy WordPress hosting is a pretty good deal at $1/month including the domain. Can WordPress be set up on any domain?
