Does anyone know a campground near Glendale? We would like to camp near our son when we visit.
Thanks, Larry Paulik

February 2014 we lucked into 2 weeks at the Walnut RV Park in Northridge...and it is pretty much the only game in town near Glendale.  We hope to stay there again in 2016.
We thought it was clean, quiet, safe and worth the $$...we also felt very lucky to have gotten space...I would recommend making reservations rather than doing a walk-on as we did...which we know was pure luck for an overnight, not to mention a full week and then asking for another week a few days later.
Any size LD will fit in any of their spaces.  We happened to be parked against the back wall (directly ahead as you enter the park).  Neighbors were interesting, but non-intrusive. It appeared to have a lot of  long-term renters, but nothing trashy.
There are some county parks in the area, but probably nothing as close as Walnut RV in Northridge.
And if you don't already have it on your schedule, do take the time and $$$ to take the Warner Brothers Studio tour.  And don't forget the former Gene Autry Museum now known as the Museum of the American West at Griffith Park and also a bit north (a short ride) to the Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar (devoted to autos, rail cars and antique musical instruments).  These latter two are not only cheaper than the Warner Bros by a great deal, but are fascinating views into other worlds than movies/tv.

TinaP 2006 MB...looking forward to a return visit to CA in 2015-16
